No injuries were reported after two vehicles struck a concrete object on Interstate 81 early Saturday near Pine Grove.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown, the first crash occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 near mile marker 96.9.
Police say Jeffrey Davis, 66, of Carlisle was driving north in his Ford Louisville and struck a large piece of concrete in the roadway.
Davis's truck sustained heavy damage to the front end, including a bent wheel and a tire hanging off the rim.
Davis was not injured but his truck was towed from the scene by Hammer's Towing.
Around the same time, second vehicle, a GM 2500, hit a large piece of concrete in the roadway near mile marker 96.9.
The impact bent the wheel and pulled the tire from the rim.
No injuries were reported and the driver was able to change the tire and continue.
