Orwigsburg Restaurant Found to be Selling Alcohol Without Liquor License

A restaurant in Orwigsburg was found to be selling alcohol without a liquor license this week.

According to the Orwigsburg Police Department, on Wednesday January 29, 2020, Chief John Koury and Officer Tanner Noecker from the Orwigsburg Police Department assisted the Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement (BLCE) at The Inn of Orwigsburg, located at 200 West Market Street, after the establishment was found to be selling alcohol without a valid liquor license. 

The Inn of Orwigsburg is owned and operated by Daniel Reppy. 

After confirming the establishment did not possess a valid liquor license, BLCE officers were able to purchase alcohol from the establishment. 

Officers subsequently seized 57.2 gallons of malt or brewed beverage, 39.2 liters of liquor, and illegal proceeds resulting from the sales of alcohol.
