On Saturday, the Mad Batters Softball Team hosted the 10th Annual Polar Plunge at the Deer Lake and West Brunswick Fire Company.
Dozens of people have been raising money for the past couple months, gathering donations before making the big plunge on Saturday.
All the proceeds and funds gathered throughout the event will go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
A dive team was on hand to help plungers enter Deer Lake and climb out on the other side.
To add to the frigid cold temperatures, a snow squall blew through as the event took place.
A 21 and over party was held after the frigid swim at the Llewellyn Fire Company which featured music from Sapphire.
