The chase began just before 2:00am when for unknown reasons at this time, a pursuit began with Northumberland County law enforcement and a Subaru Outback.
The pursuit continued into Schuylkill County through Ashland, Girardville, Mahanoy Plane, and into Gilberton.
The pursuit ended in a crash where the suspect's vehicle crashed into a pole and down an embankment near the Gilberton Breaker.
Injuries were reported from the suspect vehicle.
Multiple police units from both Northumberland and Schuylkill Counties were involved in the pursuit with fire personnel from Mahanoy City and Gilberton responding to the scene of the crash, as well as medics from Ashland and Shenanodoah.
