A woman suffered minor injuries after a crash on Interstate 81 early Saturday.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown, a crash occurred on Interstate 81 near mile marker 101.8 around 3:10am.
Police say Melinda Dove, 23, of Valley View was travelling north on Interstate 81 when she fell asleep at the wheel, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.
After impact, her Subaru Impreza rolled over onto it's roof in the median.
Dove was reported to have only suffered minor injuries in the crash and was not transported.
Police said she will be cited for the crash.
Suedberg Fire and the Pine Grove Fire Department assisted at the scene of the crash.
