According to Schuylkill County Commissioner George Halcovage, Commissioner Frank Staudenmeier, 69, of Butler Township, passed away on Saturday.
Halcovage said "we lost a friend and colleague who left an amazing legacy on Schuylkill County".
Halcovage asked everyone to keep his wife Kate, two children, and 4 grandchildren in their thoughts and prayers.
