William S. “Bill” Homa, 81, of St. Clair, died Tuesday February 11, 2020 at his home.
Born in Cass Twp, November 15, 1938, He was a son of the late Charles and Anna (Martinick) Homa.
After graduating from St. Clair High School, he served in the US Navy..
He was an Electrician at Rockwell International, Reading.
Bill was dedicated to his family and always put the needs of others before himself.
He was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, St. Clair.
Surviving are a sister Anna Mae Boffenmyer of Pottsville; nephew John Boffenmyer and his wife Melissa of Slidell, LA; Great Nephew Adam J. Boffenmyer; Great Niece Emily M. Boffenmyer.
Graveside services with military honors will be held 11:00 AM Friday from St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery 664 W. Carroll St. Saint Clair PA 17970. The with Very Rev. Gregory Noga will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA , PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901. Bruce T. Olive M. Miller, age 92, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 at Schuylkill Center in Pottsville.
Born in Port Carbon, PA on April 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Burton E. and Mary E. (Paul) Cooper.
Olive was a graduate of Port Carbon Soldiers Memorial High School, Class of 1944. She worked as a medical secretary for her brother Dr. Harold Cooper in Schuylkill Haven for over 30 years. Olive was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville, a life member of the Eastern Star Cressona Chapter #367, and she was a Republican Committeewoman in Port Carbon for many years. She was huge fan of Penn State Football and loved attending the games.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years Louis G. Miller on October 28, 2011, a son Barry L. Miller on April 15, 2017, two sisters: Betty M. Scheaffer and Ethel M. Kraft, and a brother Dr. Harold B. Cooper.
Olive is survived by her daughter Barbara L Miller, Pottsville; daughter-in-law Debra J. Miller, Cressona; granddaughter Danielle J. Maxwell and her husband Lamiek, Pottsville; grandson Barry L. Miller and his wife Melissa, Williamsburg, VA; great grandson Hunter Miller, Williamsburg, VA; and nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St. Port Carbon at 10:30AM on Saturday, February 15th, with Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday morning from 9-10:30AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Elevator Fund, 300 Arch Street, Pottsville, PA 17901

Alice M. Pogera, 89, of Dad Burnhams Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at home.
Born on February 28, 1930 in Roedersville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Alma Schneck Herring.
She was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Alice was a sewing machine operator for Bashore and a presser for American Argo, both in Schuylkill Haven.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Pauline Herring and Verna Drye, two brothers, LeRoy and Richard Herring
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Albert Pogera; a daughter Barbara and husband Robert Bruen of Schuylkill Haven; two grandchildren, Jessica Staller and Travis Riegel; two great grandchildren, Eithyn and Tevin; a brother Harvey Herring of Schuylkill Haven.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a viewing on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.

Charles R. Barr, 77, of Harvey Dr., Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at home.
Born on July 28, 1942 in Marietta, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles and Ethel Hines Barr.
He was an Army Veteran.
Charles was an HVAC technician.
He was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors, woodworking, restoring old cars and collecting all things.
Preceding him in death was a brother Paul Barr.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Janice Davis Barr; two daughters, Shari Phillips, Cynthia and husband Troy Chamberlain, both of Schuylkill Haven; four grandsons, Ryan, Shane, Casey, and Nathan; one great grandson due this summer.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 11:00 A.M., at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor William Parrish officiating.
