Ann M. Maccarone, 63, of Pottsville, PA, passed away Saturday, February 8th, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Ann was born in Mahanoy City, PA on August 28, 1956, a daughter of the late Hellen (Fetcho) and George Karetsky.
Graduated from Mahanoy Area High School and graduated from Penn State.
She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City.
She worked at Pottsville and Good Samaritan Hospitals in the position of Laboratory Supervisor and later worked for the National Children’s Study as a Lab Supervisor which was run by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
She was the wife of Anthony Maccarone.
Ann is also survived by a son, Matthew, husband of Heather, of Pottsville; and by two sisters, Judy Kurzinsky, of Levittown; Kathy Yuditsky, of Clifton VA. two brothers, George, of Allentown; Robert, of Barnesville; and by a granddaughter Haley.

Raymond Fey, 74, of Hegins, went home to be with his Lord, February 8th, surrounded by his family, at his residence. Born in Barry Township, October 15, 1945, he was the son of the late Alfred C. and Gertrude Mae Klinger Fey. He attended Tri Valley High School, and was the owner of General Auto Repairs, Deep Creek Road, Weishample, since 1972. Ray enjoyed repairing automobiles in his shop, model trains, camping, and most of all Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Preceding him in death were brothers, Edward and Thomas, also a sister Loretta Bixler.

Elena “Lanie” Herb, 65, of Swoyersville, former Lavelle resident, passed away Friday, February 7th, shortly after admission to the Geisinger Wyoming Hospital, Wilkes Barre. Born in Fountain Springs, December 23, 1954, she is the daughter of Doris Leach Herb, Pottsville, and the late William Herb Sr.
She was a graduate of the North Schuylkill High School, class of 1972. Following high school, she was employed at the Pottsville Pizzeria for many years, and for the last 15 years was employed at the Geisinger Wyoming Hospital, Wilkes Barre. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, now the Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish, Ashland.
Preceding her in death was her father, William Herb Sr., in 1993, and a granddaughter Chloe Boyer, in 2005.
