An injured woman was taken to the hospital after a crash in Walker Township on Tuesday.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 around 7:00pm on Valley Road in Walker Township.
Police say Ruth Wellington, 38, of Andreas was travelling north on Valley Road when she lost control on a right hand curve.
Wellington's Jeep Cherokee sustained heavy damage to the front of the vehicle and required towing from the scene.
Wellington was transported via Tamaqua Community Ambulance to an area hospital with a possible neck injury.
Police say Wellington was wearing her seatbelt but her airbag did not deploy.
