A Shenandoah woman is facing charges after side swiped two parked vehicles and is suspected of driving under the influence.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on February 29th, 2020 around 7:30pm on Schuylkill Avenue in Shenandoah Heights, West Mahanoy Township.
Police say Mona Khalil, 65, of Shenandoah, was traveling east on Schuylkill Avenue in a Cheverolet Uplander when she side swiped part of a driver side front and rear door of a parked Kia Optima and struck a driver side mirror of a Chevrolet Trail blazer.
No injuries were reported and none of the vehicles required towing from the scene.
After a further investigation, troopers asked Khalil to perform a series of Standard Field Sobriety Tests and was placed into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
