On Saturday afternoon, after their 39-30 win over Moravian Academy, the Mahanoy Area Girls Basketball team celebrated their third straight District XI Girls Basketball title with a fire truck parade.The parade took place at 5:15pm, and was led by fire apparatus from the Human Fire Company, West End Fire Company, Washington Hook and Ladder, Citizen's Fire Company, and the Good American Hose, along with out of town fire companies Delano and the Continental Hose in Gilberton.
The lady bears rode in a school bus and proudly held out their District XI medals.
