One person was injured Wednesday in a crash in Ryan Township.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Chee Street in Ryan Township near Barnesville around 2:00am.
Police say Daniel McManus, 40, of Barnesville was driving his Pontiac Grand Prix and traveling west on Chee Street and failed to negotiate a left turn.
McManus drove straight off the roadway, impacted several trees and overturned. The Grand Prix then caught fire.
McManus was transported to St. Lukes Hospital in Coaldale with unspecified injuries and will be cited for the crash.
Assisting police at the scene were the Ryan Township and Delano Fire Departments.
