Pottsville Postpones State of the City Address; Cancels Saint Patrick's Day Parade

The City of Pottsville has announced they have postponed events that were scheduled for the City over the next couple days due to the coronavirus threat.


Around 11:00am, Thursday, the City of Pottsville announced that the State of the City Address scheduled for Thursday evening would be postponed.

The Saint Patrick's Day Parade scheduled for Saturday, March 14th, 2020 has been cancelled.

In a press release from the city, it was stated "In light of recently updated Federal and State Directives which encourage the restriction of gatherings, we are cancelling this year's event and look forward to a grand celebration in 2021".
