Larry A. Gingrich, 70, of Valley View, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 7th at the Geisinger Medical Center.
Born in Lebanon, February 10, 1950, a son of the late George and Alice Gettle Gingrich.
Larry was a retired truck driver, last working for Penske Trucking.
He was a member of Valley View Gun Club, and the Valley View V.F.W.
Larry enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.
He was a backyard mechanic, who could often be found working in his garage. As Larry would say, "I am a jack of all trades, master of none." He loved his family and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Curry Gingrich; his five children, Virginia Babb, Catawissa; Dennis Shadle, Jonestown; Minnie Gingrich, Valley View, Roy Gingrich, Valley View and Jessica Gingrich, Schuylkill Haven. 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; two brothers, John and Neil Gingrich, both of the Lebanon area. Nieces and nephews.

Dennis E. English, 69, formerly of Tower City, passed away Thursday, March 5th.
Born in Tower City, December 29, 1950, a son of the late Richard and Grace Lemke English.
Dennis was a 1968 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Dennis was a retired CNA from local nursing homes and private home health care.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his companion, Donna Wetzel; an infant son, Ryan English.
Surviving are his two children, Shannon Housand, Frackville; Eric English, Tower City; one brother, John English, Myerstown; three grandchildren, Tracy Bendas, Ryan and Kayla Housand; one great grandson, Samuel Bendas.

John J. “Jack” Zwiesdak, 77, of Summit Hill, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at his home. He was the husband of Daune (Dankel) Zwiesdak of Summit Hill. They had celebrated their 55thWedding Anniversary this past August 15th. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Andrew and Susan (Rudy) Zwiesdak. He was a 1961 graduate of the former Coaldale High School. Jack worked at the former Atlas Powder Plant in Reynolds for 32 years, having been a 25 year Atlas Club member. He was an active member of the Summit Hill United Methodist Church. Jack was a member of the Coaldale Rod and Gun Club, having played in the Gun Club’s Horseshoe League and also traveled to various other Horseshoe Tournaments. He was a member of the Summit Hill Historical Society and also assisted with planting trees for the Summit Hill Shade Tree Commission. Jack was recognized as being a 50+ year voter in Carbon County having worked the polls at the 3rdWard in Summit Hill. He played in the Panther Valley Dart League and was avid supporter of Panther Valley School District Sports. Jack was an avid Eagles, Phillies, Penn State and NASCAR racing fan.
Surviving along with his wife; is a Son, John Zwiesdak of Summit Hill; Daughter and Caregiver, Jill Zwiesdak and her fiancé, Randy Gombert, of Summit Hill; Grandson, Kyle Zwiesdak of Tamaqua; Great Granddaughter, Morgan Zwiesdak; Brother-in-law, Bob Dankel and his wife Nan of Myerstown; Sister-in-law, Joy Keip and her husband Mike of Summit Hill; Niece, Huntre Keip of Summit Hill.
Funeral Service is on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill with the Rev. Daniel Meader officiating. Interment will follow at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Calling Hours are Monday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Donna D. Scott, 63, of Coaldale, formerly of New Brunswick, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Palmer W. Price and Shirley (Davis) Price. Donna worked for McDonald’s in Hometown as a manager for many years and last as a Surveyor for ODC Marketing Co. in Tamaqua. She was of the Protestant Faith.
Surviving are Children, Shirly Ann Gonzalez (41) and her companion Gilbert Rivera and Gary L. Scott Jr. (33) both of Coaldale; Grandchildren, Desiree A. Weiser of Minersville, Celeste M Weiser of Minersville, Kylie J. Weiser of Minersville, Douglas W Major of Coaldale and Nicholas W. Major of Coaldale; a Great Grandson, Maxwell Grey Arroyo of Minersville; Son-in-law, Leon Weiser (39) of Minersville. Donna was the last member of her immediate family.
