The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday morning in Cressona.According to police, the robbery occurred Wednesday, around 4:30am at the Mobil Convenience Store located at 20 Pottsville Street in Cressona.
Police say a white male wearing a tan jacket with a hood, blue jeans (possibly cuffed at the bottom), brown boots with a light colored sole, and a black face mask entered the convenience store and brandished a black pistol to the store clerk and demanded money from the cash register.
After the clerk gave the suspect the cash, he fled the scene on foot along with the cash drawer.
The suspect was last seen walking north through the parking lot towards Main Street.
Surveillance footage showed the male to walk with his right foot canted inward or pigeon toed.
He was also described as being thing built and stood approximately 6'00 to 6'04" tall.
