Shenandoah Man Locked Up for Threatening to Shoot Woman

A Shenandoah man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after police say he threated to shoot a woman in the face.


According to Police Chief George Carado, on Saturday, April 25th, 2020, around 11:12pm, Shenandoah Police Officers were dispatchedto 437 W Centre St for a disturbance and a male armed with a handgun. 

The female victim reported that, Gabriel Oliveras-Suarez, 31, of Shenandoah, was under the influence of alcohol and began arguing. 

Oliveras-Suarez retrieved a handgun from the second floor of the residence and threatened to shoot the woman in the face. 

Oliveras-Suarez was taken into custody and charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault and Harassment. 

He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $25,000.00 bail.
