State Police Investigate Identity Theft through Paypal Credit Card

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating a case of identity theft.


According to police, in March, a victim reported to police that someone obtained the information of a Tamaqua man and opened a credit card through Paypal with his information without consent.

The victim reported that $3,763 worth of items were purchased before he knew the account existed.
