Along with a Wind Advisory that was issued for Monday, there is the possibility of strong storms in Schuylkill County and the surrounding counties.
According to the National Weather Service, severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts are possible late Monday morning and early in the afternoon. An isolated tornado can't be ruled out.
Anyone with outdoor plans midday Monday should keep an eye on the skies and keep up with weather forecasts.
The Wind Advisory for Schuylkill County will be in affect from 4:00am until 8:00pm. Winds are expected from south measuring 15 mph to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
The Mahanoy Area School District has already announced that lunches will not be delivered on Monday due to the weather forecast.
