A woman was flown to an area hospital late Friday after an ATV crash in Wayne Township.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred around 10:10pm at the intersection of Luckenbill Road and Schwartz Valley Road in Wayne Township.
Police say the crash occurred as Amanda Mason, 30, of Minersville was operating an ATV and traveling south on the shoulder of Luckenbill Road and lost control while attempting to make a left turnonto Schwartz Valley Road.
Mason was thrown from the ATV and then the ATV rolled over her.
Mason sustained serious injuries and was flown by MedEvac to Lehigh Valley Hospital and listed in stable but critical condition.
Mason was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
