Fire crews are responding to a large brush fire late Wednesday.Around 9:00pm, fire crews were dispatched to the area of 1 Dombrowski Lane, East Union Township for a possible house fire. Crews encountered rugged terrain that could only be accessible on foot.
Just before 10:00pm, additional brush units from around Schuylkill County were called to the scene to aid in fighting the fire.
Units are staging in the area along Route 924.
