One person was taken to an area hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Hegins Township Wednesday morning.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred Wednesday morning around 6:30am, on Deep Creek Road in Hegin Township near the intersection of Fools Paradise Lane.
Police say the crash occurred as Joseph Grantz, 62, of Hegins, was travelling south on drifted and struck David Schwalm, 43, of Hegins almost head on.
Grantz reported suffering minor injuries to police but was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Schwalm was not injured in the crash.
Hatter's Towing assisted with towing and Hegins EMS and Fire assisted at the scene.
