Helen E. Wallauer, 97, of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., died Saturday, May 2, at Careone at King James, Nursing Home Atlantic Highlands.

Helen was born July 19, 1922, in Palo Alto, a daughter of the late Alice (Mellinger) and Albert Clocker.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in 2006.

She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church Saint Clair.

She retired as a waitress in 1986.

She was a member of Women's Circle at St. Paul's UCC, Garwood, N.J.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Ralph Clocker; a sister, Geraldine Hartranft.

Helen is survived by two daughters, Sally Ann Holzapfel, of Garwood N.J., and Michele Spaeth, of Atlantic Highlands, N..J; two sons, Ray A. Wallauer, of Garwood N.J., and Robert R. Wallauer, of Lawrence, N.J.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Grickis Lambert, of RD Pottsville.

Services are private at the convenience of family, with interment in Mount Laurel Cemetery, Pottsville.

George R Wolfe, 56 years, of Millhead Road Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2020, in the loving care of his wife of 32 years, Audrey J. (Gambler) Wolfe.

Born Thursday, January 23, 1964 in Lehighton the son of Doris (Coombe) Wolfe of Tamaqua, and the late George P. Wolfe who passed away on Sept. 10, 2009.

He is also survived by; sons, Richard "Rick" G. Wolfe and his fiancée Gwen Langenstein of Ottsville, Tylor J. Wolfe and his fiancée Savannah Szabo of Tamaqua; sister, Deborah Frey wife of Harold of Tamaqua; grand children, Mason and Brooklyn as well as, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A 1981 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, George retired from Labor's Union 1174 having worked for Duggan & Marcon of the Lehigh Valley for many years. George was active in Scouting as a member of troop #106 New Mahoning earning the honor of being awarded Eagle Scout. George stayed active in scouting as both his sons went on to also earn their Eagle Scout badges. An avid outdoorsman, George liked to hunt and cultivate his garden. George was a member of St. Peter Church of Tamaqua, Mahoning Fire Company and Andreas Sporting Club.

Richard "Dick" J. Elliott, 84, of Fountain Springs passed away at his residence with his family by his side. 

Born in Danville, January 17, 1936, he was raised in Shamokin and was a son of the late Alphonse and Helen Brokus Elliott. He was a graduate of Shamokin High School. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War having served in the Philippines and attained the rank of Corporal. He worked for the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company as a substation repair foreman. 

He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Ashland; the Royal Order of Moose, Lodge #1149; a life-member of the Friendship Fire Engine and Hose Company No.1, both of Shamokin. 

He is survived by his wife Barbara A Estock Elliott, Fountain Springs, they celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on April 15th; two sons; Richard "Rick" Elliott and wife Gloria, Frackville; Thomas Elliott, Schuylkill Haven; two daughters; Sharon Fey and husband Tim, Frackville and Kimberly Shatalsky and husband Frank, Ringtown; seven grandchildren; Michael, Tucker, Sean, Marissa, Ryan, Steven and Ricky; three great-grandchildren; Grant, Abby and Nicholas; a brother Alphonse Elliot; two sisters Rosemary Glaudel and Nancy Jane Wysock; several nieces and nephews. 

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Ashland; Interment with military honors will be St. Joseph Cemetery, Fountain Springs.

Elizabeth 'Betty' Jones, 95, a former resident of Ringtown, currently a guest at ManorCare Health Services in Easton, passed away Sunday, May 3rd, 2020.

Betty was born in Dorothy, NJ on September 17, 1924, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Stern) and William Serbeck.

Betty worked at the Justborne Candy Company while living Bethlehem, until she and her husband relocated to the Jones family farm in Ringtown.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Ringtown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, and her husband, Oliver "Dutch" Jones.

Betty leaves behind her daughter, Rose, wife of Ed Tadayesky of Easton, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Vickie and Ray of Florida; Paula, Rihanna and Jaxson of Easton, along with nieces and nephews.

Betty will be laid to rest at St. John's Cemetery during private family services.

Jane L. Hoffman, 64, of Gordon passed away Saturday May 2, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.
Born July 5, 1955 in Gordon the daughter of the late Lester and Ethel (Smith) Hoffman.
Jane attended North Schuylkill High School. She last worked for Jetson Co., Hamburg.
Along with her parents, Jane was preceded in death by sisters: Mabel Morgan and Jean Hoffman.
Surviving are a brother and sister: Lester Hoffman of Kansas and Jennie Clark of Hegins, PA. Nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Annis M Shadle, age 90, formerly of Fountain, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Green Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pitman.

She was born on Tuesday, May 21, 1929, in Hegins Twp, a daughter of the late Elvin R Huntsinger and the late Eva E Schwalm Huntsinger.

She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.

Annis was a self employed beautician for forty years.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain.

Her husband, Monroe J Shadle, passed away in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, John Huntsinger.

She is survived by a son, Thomas M Shadle and his wife Sharon of Hegins; a daughter, Joanne P Schwalm of Hegins; three grandsons, Michael Schwalm of Hegins, Joel Shadle and his wife Anjali of Jamison, and Jesse Shadle and his wife Kirsten of Hegins; a granddaughter, Jennifer Shadle and her husband Corey of Hegins; two great granddaughters, Emma Shadle of Hegins and Maya Shadle of Jamison; two great grandsons, Devan Shadle of Jamison and Caleb Shadle of Hegins; a sister, Ruth Terwilliger of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the current public health concerns, services will be private.

Burial will be in Fountain Community Cemetery.
