Robert J. (Jack) Kline, 91, formerly of Minersville & Llewellyn passed away Thursday, May 21st, at St. Luke's Hospital Lehighton. 

Jack was born in Pottsville, Pa. on March 14, 1929, a son of the late Olive (Maurer) and Robert J Kline. He was the widower of Nancy (Brown) Kline. 

He was a member of First Congregational Church, Minersville. He was a graduate of Minersville high School and attended Elizabethtown College. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II in the Japanese theater. Before his retirement he was employed at ALCOA as first a Security Guard and then an Office clerk. 

In addition to his parents and his wife, Nancy, he was preceded in death by his brother William Kline. 

Jack is survived by two sons Thomas, husband of Mary Ann Kline, of Minersville; John R. "Jack" Kline & his companion Francie Stare, of Elizabethtown. 

He is also survived by Grandson; Jesse Kline, Minersville as well as nieces. 

At the behest of his family all services shall be private. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.

George R. Suchar
, 77, of Tower City, passed away Sunday, May 24th at his home.

Born in Pottsville, December 18, 1942, a son of the late George and Anna "Dolly" Mehalko Suchar.

George was a 1960 graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School. He retired after 44 years with Commonwealth Telephone Company.

He was a member of the former Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church, Williamstown.

George was a car enthusiast, and enjoyed all types of auto racing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his pets and his trips to the casino.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Arabelle "Arbie" Hopple Suchar; two children, Lori Stuber and her husband Brad, Dauphin and Kurt Suchar and his wife Julie, Landisville, three grandsons; Kyle, Jacob and Justin Suchar whom he thought the world of and was extremely proud.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Burial will be in the Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Williamstown. Jack M. Modesto
, Sr., 99, of Pine Grove, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 17, 1921 in Stamford, CT, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Michelina Merola Modesto.

He met the love of his life Margaret "Peggy" Modesto and spent 58 amazing years together.

Jack was an entrepreneur and inventor, building a successful GMC dealership in Cressona with his brothers which he eventually took over, Co-owned Susquehanna Coach Co., in Cressona with his lifelong friend, and co-created a 5th wheel device which thrust travel trailer use into the future.

He was very accomplished, being a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, as a Flotilla Commander, Lifetime NRA member, Boy Scout Leader, and President of We The People.

Jack always had an uplifting attitude and loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gunsmith. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

Preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Peggy in 2018; two brothers John and Salvatore Modesto; two sisters, Angelina DeCarlo and Mary Caccavella.

Surviving are sons, Jack Jr. (Esther) Modesto of Arizona, Salvatore (Karen) Modesto of Seltzer City, Nicholas Sr. (Sally) Modesto of Pine Grove; daughters, Stella (Rick) Ochs of Seltzer City, Robin (Craig) Werner of Pine Grove, Dina Modesto of Punta Gorda, FL, Danielle (Darin) Chandler of Port Charlotte, FL; 12 grandchildren, Eddie, Jason, Wayne, Nichole, Ryan, Nicholas Jr., Angelina, Zachary, Gabrielle, Tiffany, Joseph and Lacie; 22 great grandchildren, Natalia, Lindsey, Katie, Kyleigh, Bryce, Bre, Bentley, Jack, Lilly, Brennden, Seth, Tanner, Blake, Julian, Zachary, Zander, Raven, Lillianna, Noah, Aurora, Jack and Luke; a brother Frank Modesto; sisters, Fran Ginther and Michelina Wapinsky and nephews.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Dr. Ira Lydic officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. (Graveside Services will be live streamed on the Funeral Home facebook page on Friday, May 29 at 11:00 A.M.)

Anna Mae Getz
, 84, of Myerstown, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Stoneridge Towne Center, Myerstown.

Born on August 18, 1935 in Suedberg, she was a daughter of the late Paul L. and Hannah C. Wolfe Gibson.

Anna was a seamstress.

Preceding her in death were a granddaughter, Sonja Getz; two brothers, Charles Gibson and Robert Gibson, and a sister, Helen Hornberger.

Surviving are three sons, Jacob and wife Anita Getz of Elk Grove, CA, Paul and wife Robin Getz of Fredericksburg, Roger Getz of Fort Fairfield, ME; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two brothers, George and wife Karen Gibson of Pine Grove, Clarence Gibson and his companion Kay Shadle of Muir; a sister Sue Ann Kauffman of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Terry Jansma officiating. Interment will be in the Suedberg Church of God Cemetery, Pine Grove.
