An Ashland woman woke up to find a person she didn't know sitting her in bedroom and petting her dog early Wednesday.
According to Ashland Police, on Wednesday morning, they were contacted by a woman from the 800 Block of Brock Street in the borough that stated she was woken up about 2:30am Wednesday and found a woman she didn't recognize sitting on the floor of her bedroom petting her dog.
The victim said after she yelled at the unknown woman, she left the home.
Later Wednesday morning, Ashland Police Chief Ger Daley received surveillance footage from a neighbor of the victim.
In the video, Daley said the woman in the video resembled Sarah Wytovich, 38, of Ashland, who was reported to have been involved in four incidents with State Police earlier that morning as well.
Later that morning, Daley went to interview Wytovich at her residence where she admitted to going inside the woman's home.
Ashland Police charged Wytovich with criminal trespass for the incident.
She was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 straight cash bail.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville also charged Wytovich with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after she admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamine during one of the incidents around 6:00am.
