A woman was injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 81 in Ryan Township on Monday.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 8:00pm, Monday, on Interstate 81 Southbound near mile marker 135.4.
Troopers say the crash occurred when Elliot Clark, 22, of Fracville, was "cut off" by another vehicle.
Clark's Kia Sportage drifted off the left side of the roadway and when he attempted to swerve, he over-corrected and began to rotate. The vehicle skid off the left side of the roadway hitting a ditch, then rolling onto it's roof.
The Sportage slid up a 20' embankment and came to a rest on it's roof.
All passengers, including two children were properly seatbelted or in safety seats. All occupants were able to crawl out of the vehicle but one passenger suffered minor injuries including cuts to her arm.
Clark will be cited for the crash.
