State Police are investigating the theft of several weed whackers from the Tremont area earlier this month.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the first incident occurred between June 6th, 2020 and June 11th, 2020. Police say someone broke into a shed owned by the Echo Valley Brethren Church on Tremont Road, in Tremont Township and stole a Stihl F91R Orange and White Weed Wacker valued at $370.00. A shed door and lock were also damaged.
The second incident occurred between June 8th, 2020 and June 9th, 2020 when someone entered a fenced in area on through a hole in the fencing on the property of the Schuylkill County Municipal Authority. The suspect(s) stole 2 Stihl Weed Wackers.
