Born Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Merle Glaspie and Laura P. (Cook) Glaspie. Savannah is also survived by; brother, Matthew Cook, sister, Avery Cook; paternal grandmother, Delores Pelton of Tamaqua, aunts and cousins.
Savannah was a fifth grade student at West Penn Elementary School in Tamaqua. Savannah loved school, and insisted to dress in her school uniform every day while schooling from home over these past months. During the summer months, Savannah would keep detailed lists of all her needed supplies for the upcoming school year as she anxiously anticipated returning to her beloved teachers and friends. Savannah was a fan of Homer Simpson, and loved her dogs.
In spite of many congenital difficulties Savannah persevered and brought much joy to those who knew her. Savannah's premature death is a great loss to family, friends, teacher and the staff of the West Penn Elementary School.
