Born in Lebanon on February 4, 1963, a son of Anthony Horney, Sr. and his wife Roberta of Steelton, and the late Judith (Kapp) Horney.
He and his wife, Lisa White were married for 26 years and shared a passion for family time at the beach, sports and a good laugh.
Anthony was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School, Wilmington University and received his Masters of Social Work Degree from Marywood University. Anthony played college baseball and pitched in the college world series. He received All-American honors that year. Anthony was employed as a clinical social worker.
Anthony was an avid hunter and enjoyed his time upstate with his buddies Mike and Ken. He also enjoyed fishing. Always the jokster, with his quick wit love of the three stooges.
Anthony's greatest joy was the times he spent with his children. Anthony coached biddy and junior high basketball and also coached baseball at every level; little league teener, and High School at Nativity. He was so proud of his children's accomplishments both athletically and academically, and he played a key role in helping them become caring young adults.
Anyone that knew Tony, knew he was a big teddy bear and had a heart of gold. He would help anyone or any animal in need.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a son, Bryar White; daughter, Keegan White; a sister, Judith, wife of Bob Frantz, of Taylor, SC; and a brother, Kerry Horney, fiance of Jennifer Winfield, of Greenville, SC.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven on June 30th at 11am with Josh Ott officiating.
A visitation will be held prior from 10am until the time of the service at the Funeral Home.
The family requests donations to Schuylkill Haven Little League, Schuylkill Haven.

Born on May 13, 1955 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Thelma Knerr Adams and husband Gary of Pine Grove and the late John W. Hesser.
She was a 1973 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Debra worked in Customer Service as a cashier at CR's and Hess and later at Ingram Micro in the Apple Returns department in Jonestown.
Preceding her in death was a brother John Hesser, Jr.
Surviving, in addition to her mother and step father, are her husband of 30 years, Charles D. Keefer, Jr.; three daughters, Renee and husband Matthew Huff, Katie Keefer, both of Pine Grove, Alyson and wife Lizz Tooher of Philadelphia; six grandchildren, Osric Smith, Dryden, Caius, and Gideon Huff, Eli Keefer and Alek Davis; a sister Jeanette and husband John Frantz of Pine Grove.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. from the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a calling time on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00A.M. at the Funeral Home. We do require continuing to follow social distancing and CDC guidelines at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 to help defray the cost of the services.

Born in Shenandoah on June 24, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette “Tessie” (Kiauleviciute) Kanick.
She was a retired garment worker having last worked for the former Villa Fashions, Shenandoah.
Theresa was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah formerly Saint George’s Church. She was also a member of the ILGWU. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing, picking huckleberries and mushrooms and tending to her garden. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family. She was a kind person who was very generous to her family and friends.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were two brothers, Anthony and John Kanick; three sisters, Jean Schaff, Mary Domozik and Anna Chowansky; and two nephews, Robert Kanick and Joseph Domozik. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Joan Thomas, Antoinette Tranter and her husband Terry, Linda Schaaf, Diane Sinclair and her husband Randy, Paul Chowansky and his wife Julie, Patricia Chowansky, Karen Natale and her husband Joseph and Harry Chowansky, III and his wife Lisa; great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 10:00 am in Divine Mercy Church, 232 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. All CDC and PA Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines will be observed.

Margaret A. Palavich, 70, of Mahanoy City, passed away on Friday, June 19th at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. Born in Mahanoy City on May 19th, 1950, Margaret was the daughter of the late Stanley and Margie “Baldigo” Beninsky.
A graduate of the former Mahanoy City Catholic High School, she was of the Catholic faith. Margaret had a love for animals, especially cats and loved walking her dog, Marley.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Palavich and 1 brother, Joseph Beninsky
Margaret is survived by daughters, Christina Wetzel (caretaker) and her husband Danny, Mahanoy City, and Lorriane Wagner with her husband Perry, Barnesville, and her grandson, Francis who was the apple of her eye.
Private Graveside services will be conducted in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua on Friday, June 26th.
