One victim died while another flown to an area hospital after an industrial accident near McAdoo on Thursday.Just before 1:00pm on Thursday, emergency personnel were dispatched to 90 Plant Road, in Kline Township near McAdoo for an industrial accident.
As fire personnel arrived on scene a Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner was requested for one victim and a helicopter was requested for another.
According to authorities, two men were working on tearing down a conveyor belt that was part of the former CoGen plant that was on the property.
The two were working approximately 80 feet in the air when they, along with the assembly to the ground.
Dennis Fleming, 32, of Erie was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner David Truskowky.
The other victim, Edward Potter, also of Erie was flown to an area hospital where he was listed as having serious injuries.
