A man suffered minor injuries in a crash on Interstate 81 on Saturday in Butler Township.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 around 3:45pm on Interstate 81 northbound near mile marker 120.3.
Police say the crash occurred as Christopher Caravella, 22, of Mahanoy Plane was traveling north on Interstate 71 and lost control of his Chevrolet Cobalt due to driving too fast during a rain storm.
Caravella traveled off the right side of the highway striking a concrete barrier. The Cobalt sustained major damage to the front end and hood area.
Caravella was said to have suffered minor injuries to the face but refused transport.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Caravella will be cited for the crash.
