Saint Clair Trailer Manufacturing Company Donates $5,000 to Jaden Leiby

On Friday, another company came to the aid of a former North Schuylkill high school football player that was injured last year.

Earlier this week, we told you the story about the Chill Out Ice Cream Bar & Snack Shop in Shenandoah that donated $2,500 to Jaden Leiby.

Thanks to the power of the press, the owners of Spector Manufacturing Inc, in Saint Clair, saw the stories by WNEP, the Republican Herald, and Skook News and decided they wanted to help too.

"Schuylkill County is a small area and word travels fast.  We heard somebody from North Schuylkill got hurt and as you saw, it impacts the whole community, not just North Schuylkill.  We were excited Jaden was able to come down today and give him something towards his recovery" said Joe Mashak, a purchasing agent for Spector.

On Friday afternoon, Jaden Leiby, along with his dad Heath, brother Jake Green, received a $5,000 check from the owner Charlie Spector, purchasing agent Joe Mashak, Plant Manager Dave Koinski, Office Manager Patricia Sullivan, and Stefan Kowalonek from Accounting along with 28 of the plant employees.

"Again I'm speechless, these people are great people.  I just heard about it and I was shocked again.  Schuylkill County is great place and I'm glad to have met these people and the people from Chill out that made this all happen.  I'm very thankful." said Jaden Leiby.
