No Injuries After Crash on Route 209 in Port Carbon
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred on Friday, July 24th, 2020, around 1:10am on Washington Street in Port Carbon.
Police say Victoria Donovan, 18, of Shenandoah, was driving west on Route 209 near the intersection with Main Street when she lost control of her Kia Optima while negotiating a right curve in the roadway.
Donovan's vehicle struck a pole as well as a stop sign.
Donovan and 4 passengers in her vehicle were not injured in the crash.
A second vehicle that was parked was damaged after the stop sign fell onto it.

Three Injured in Crash on Route 61 near Deer Lake on Route 61
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred on Route 61/Centre Turnpike at the intersection with Market Street.
Police say Rick Kauffman, 67, of Fleetwood, PA was traveling south on Route 61 while Suzanne Billman, 68, of Orwigsburg was traveling on Market Street.
Kauffman reportedly approached the intersection and was unable to see the traffic light was red due to sunlight in his eyes.
Kauffman struck Billman's vehicle in the intersection causing disabling damage to both vehicles.
Both drivers and a 17 year old passenger in Kauffman's vehicle were all wearing their seat belts and suffered minors injuries in the crash. All were transproted to Geisinger St. Lukes' for their injuries.
Assisting State Police at the crash were the West Brunswick Fire Company, Schuylkill EMS, Auburn EMS, and Womer's Towing.
