Dean Andrew Boe, 55, of Hegins, passed away Wednesday, July 1, at his best friend and companions' home in Minersville.

Born Aug. 26, 1964, in Pottsville, he was a son of Edith (Schneck) Boe, of Pine Grove, and Paul Boe, of Hegins.

Dean was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and Penn State University, where he received an associates degree in micro computer engineering. He served in the Army with the Army Rangers and worked for various companies as an electrical engineer.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his four daughters; brother, Timothy Boe, Schuylkill Haven; best friend and companion, Michelle O'Brien, Minersville; his dogs, Edison and Einstein.

Any donations may be given to the donors charity of choice . Private interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Jacquelin L. Bain Buecker
, 77, of Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 in the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on June 1, 1943 in Kingston, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alfred "Jack" and Marie Devens Bain.

She was a 1961 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a 1963 graduate of Central Penn Business School in Harrisburg

Jacquelin worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for 35 years at the Pottsville Hospital and a secretary for 8 years for Dr. Richard Bindie.

Surviving are a son, Darrin Adams of Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren, Jason Adams and Nicole Adams; two great grandchildren, Tyson and Alivia Adams.

Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. in Manbeck's Cemetery, 73 Wild Cherry Rd., Schuylkill Haven with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen for Cancer Research; Susan G. Komen, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 526, Dallas, TX 75244 in her memory.

Eugene F. O’Brien
, 70, of Minersville, passed away at home in the presence of family after a brief illness.

Born on October 13, 1949 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late James O’Brien and Alice Baumer O’Brien Hughes. He attended Minersville schools and was self-employed as a contractor, operating as E. O’Brien Contracting and also owned Shamrock Manufacturing.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 32 years, Georgine A. O’Brien, on June 27; two brothers, Robert “Lynn” O’Brien and James “Britz” O’Brien.

Eugene is survived by two children, Shawn O’Brien, Minersville, and Kelly Lipshaw, Port Carbon; three grandchildren, Taylor O’Brien, Devin Lipshaw and Kaylin Lipshaw; three nieces, Denise O’Brien Conville, Karen O’Brien Winfough and Michelle Kairitis O’Brien; a nephew, Jacob Kairitis.

Arrangements are incomplete.

John Wesley Kehlor, 81 years of age, of North Lehigh Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Orwigsburg Center.

Born Sunday, September 4, 1938 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania the son of the late John and Marion (Behler) Kehlor.

Surviving are; his wife Doris (Wittig) Kehlor; son, Scott W. Kehlor of New Holland; grandson, Spenser Kehlor.

John, retired after 35 years from I.C.I. Americas having worked in production and sales in their Wilmington De. Valley Forge, and Reynolds Pa. plants.

John and his wife Doris are known for their meticulously manicured garden on North Lehigh Street in Tamaqua.

John served honorably in the United State Air Force and was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons. He belonged to the Bloomsburg Consistory, was a 32 Degree Mason and member of the Rajah Temple Shrine.

Mary Elizabeth Lehotta
, 92 yrs. of age, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday July 5, 2020 at Dock Woods- Healthcare in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

Born Tuesday, July 12, 1927 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Trackim) Urban. She was also predeceased by; husband, George Robert Charles Lehatta; son, John Lehotta; sisters, Frances Breslin, Regina Urban, Anna Mae Johnson; daughter-in-law, Janice Lehotta.

Surviving are sons, Michael Lehotta of Carmel, California, George R. Lehotta and his wife Vicki of Harleysville; grandchildren, Siobhan and her husband Paul, Jacob and his wife Ashley, Heather and her finacee Brandon. sister, Joan Zemanik of Tamaqua, Marie Foor of Axton, Va.. Many nieces and nephews also survive Mary. Mary, loved being around her family.

A graduate of St. Jerome High School in Tamaqua, Mary was a member of St. Stanislus R.C.C. of Lansdale. Mary worked at Bill's Cold Cuts & Deli in Lansdale for many years. She was an avid Bowler and good cook.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ambrose R.C.C. 201 Randell Street Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania 17972 Friday July 10, 2020 at 10:30 o'clock A.M.. Her nephew Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik to officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time of services in the church.

Interment will be in St. Jerome R.C.C., Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Gary L. Hasker, Sr., 71 of Shenandoah passed away on Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville with his family by his side.

Born in Hazleton on May 6, 1949 he was a son of the late Raymond S. and Anna E. (Falatko) Hasker.

He attended schools in Hazleton.

Earlier in life, he worked for the former Wally’s Service Station, Shenandoah, Lynn’s Auto, Zion Grove, and the Shenandoah Rag Company. He retired from Meadow Burke in Hazleton.

Gary was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed camping, fishing and going to yard sales. He was also a train enthusiast. But above all and of most importance to him was spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were three sisters, Jeanette White, Rita Miller and Dolores Rhoades; and one brother, Dennis Hasker.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Marie J. (Lindenmuth) Hasker; one son, Gary L. Hasker, Jr. of Wapwallopen; one daughter, Patricia Burke of Shenandoah; five grandchildren, Raymond, Rick, and Hope Hasker, Brett Burke and Tamara Longenberger; four great-grandchildren, Elly, Lilly, Emberlyn and Ryan; one brother, Sylvester Hasker; four sisters, Shirley Jackson, Joyce Lazar, Nancy Windsor, Lynda Schlenker; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Private religious services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian officiating. A private viewing will be held on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. All CDC and PA Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines will be observed.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.

Stella Lavenburg
, 85, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday while a resident of Providence Place, Pottsville.

She was born in Llewellyn, May 16, 1935, and was a graduate of Minersville Area High School.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summer Hill.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Lavenburg Jr., who passed away in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Norman E. III "Spanky" and Glenn Lavenburg.

Stella is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. The Rev. Kathleen Ash-Flashner will officiate. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
