Dennis R. Schott, 64, Frackville passed away Tuesday July 7th at his home.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late John and Mary Palulis Schott.

Dennis was known for being an excellent musician and playing in the former band, Tucker Young.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John H. Schott III.

Dennis is survived by his two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.

Charles J. Antonelli, 72, of Forestville, Cass Township, passed away on Thursday at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Chernosky Antonelli. He was a 1965 graduate of Cass Township High School. He was employed by the former Tamaqua Cable Company (now Prysmian Draka Cableteq) until retiring.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 46 years, the former Mary Bohr, on October 19, 2019.

Charles is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Hart (spouse, Neal), Cass Township, April Moran (spouse, Paul), Norwegian Township, and Crystal Gillis (spouse, Michael), Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Aiden Moran, Katelyn Moran, Emily Hart, and Jackson Gillis; two siblings, Craig Antonelli (spouse, Patricia), Newtown, Reilly Township, and Donna Bernasz (spouse, William), Forestville; a nephew, Edward Pollman.

Thomas K. McCabe, Jr.
, 35, of Girardville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 4th, 2020, in Shenandoah.

Thomas was born in Pottsville on December 16, 1984, a son of Kimberly Ann (Spital) Houtz, of Girardville, and Thomas K. McCabe, Sr., of Frackville. He attended the Shenandoah Valley School District and last worked locally as a short order cook. He was of the catholic faith.

Affectionately known as "Bubba' and "Fluffy", he loved to make people laugh and was always the life of the party.

He was an avid Penn State and Dallas Cowboys fan and he also was also a fan of the New York Yankees.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin Houtz and Nicholas McCabe.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Tabie Jones of Tamaqua, and their son, Conner.

He is also survived by his sisters, Amy Houtz, of Pottsville; Kristen McCabe, of Girardville; Meagen McCabe, of Girardville; Cassidy Houtz, of Girardville; a brother, Eric McCabe, of Girardville and by his maternal grandmother, Genevieve Spital, of Mahanoy City.

Thomas is also survived by his extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, July 21st, 2020 at 12 Noon at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home in Ringtown.

Visitation with Thomas's family will be held from 11AM until the time of the service.

All guests are reminded of the protocols for social distancing and the use of face masks as mandated.

Mary Louise Buchinsky
, 58, of Shenandoah, passed away on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Shenandoah on January 29th, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Theodore ‘Ted” and Rita (Banewicz) Williams.

Mary Lou was a 1979 graduate of the Shenandoah Valley High School, and then continued her education at Penn State University – Schuylkill Campus. She worked as the office manager for the Borough of Shenandoah for more than 20 years. She loved spending time with family and taking care of everybody. Mary Lou enjoyed her collection of purses.

Preceding her in death, besides her parents, was her sister, Rita Williams Holman in 2006 and a father-in-law, John Jack Buchinsky in 2017

She leaves behind her loving husband of 35 years, John Jack Buchinsky, 1 son, John Jack Buchinsky IV with his wife Bre, of Shenandoah, 1 daughter, Jillian Onisick with her husband John, of Shenandoah, and a grandson, John Theo Onisick. 3 brothers, Ted Williams with his wife Patricia, of New Jersey and their children, Teddy, Johnny, Trisha, Michael, and Rita Marie, Gerry Williams Sr. of Minersville and his children, Gerry and Amy, and John Williams with his wife Beth, Pottsville, and their children Josh and Zack. Of the late Rita Williams Holman, her children, Jess and David. 1 brother-in-law, Yogi with his wife Eileen and their children, Jim and Mark, 2 sister-in-laws, Julie Faleski and Joann Pribish with her son Zack. Mother-in-law, Madeline Buchinsky. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.

A visitation for family and friends will be conducted on Monday, July 13th from 5 to 8pm at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah and then on Tuesday morning, July 14th from 8 to 9:30am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am in Divine Mercy Parish, 218 W. Cherry St, Shenandoah and will be officiated by Msgr. Ronald Bocian. Burial will follow in St. Casimir’s Parish Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the: Rita R. Holman Breast Cancer Foundation.
