Thomas P. Dargis, 68, of Shenandoah, passed away on Monday, July 27th, 2020 at his home.
Born in Rahway, New Jersey on April 25th, 1952 he was the son of the late Anthony and Philemena Dargis.
Tom worked for Marko Radiator in Shenandoah for many years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Cominsky, and 1 brother, Robert.
He is survived by 1 son, David Dargis – Shenandoah, 2 daughters, Angie Pleva with Matt – Frackville and Amanda Morris with Paul – Millersburg, 1 brother, Tony Dargis – Quakertown, 1 sister, Pat Roberts with George – Ringtown, 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth Jensolowsky, Matthew A. Nestor, Maryfaith Morris, and Grayson Morris. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Melinda A. Stauffer, 58, of Ringtown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020.
Melinda was born in Shenandoah, on March 13, 1962, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Mooney) and Ronald Shoup.
She was a 1980 graduate of the North Schuylkill High School, and the North Schuylkill Vo-Tech, where she studied cosmetology.
A kind and caring person, Melinda was the Matriarch of the Shoup family. She was very well known in the Ringtown area, having held several jobs locally. She was also a die hard Philadelphia Phillies fan.
Melinda was of the lutheran faith and was a former member of the Ringtown Fire Company. Melinda generously fostered and cared for many and all cats that came across the path of her home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Stauffer, and by a sister, Susan Shoup.
Melinda is survived by two sisters and a brother, Nancy Hoover, of Gordon; Melissa, wife of Thomas Zarcufsky, of Ringtown; and Ronald 'Butch' Shoup and his wife Francine of Ringtown.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Samantha Shoup, Maxine Hoover, James Zarcufsky, Jennie Zarcufsky, Thomas Zarcufsky, Garrison Zarcufsky, Colby Fishburn, Felicia Shoup, Nicole Shoup and Elijah Fausnaught. She is also survive by great nephews Brantley Zarcufsky, Avarey Lentes and Dominic Zarcufsky.
Melinda will be laid to rest next to her husband Thomas at St. John's Cemetery in Ringtown during private family services.

Born on August 22, 1925 in Pine Grove Twp, she was a daughter of the late Harry Lengle and Annie Haldeman Keefer.
She was a 1942 graduate of Pine Grove High School and was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove.
Erma worked as a Seamstress for various local garment factories.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, William Glore in 1953; a brother Ralph Zerbe, Jr. in WWII; a sister Ruth Brown in 2004.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Leroy Schnoke; two sons, Dennis and wife Margaret Schnoke, Robert and wife Kathryn Schnoke, both of Pine Grove; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Schnoke, Jonathan Schnoke, William Schnoke, Jessica Schneck; two step grandsons, Damon Lengle, Jr. and Michael Stenulis; five great grandchildren, Jesse, Jetta, Jax, Jase, and Garrett Schnoke.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Chaplain David Borten officiating. Interment will be in the Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Jane R Maurer, age 80, formerly of Hegins, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Allentown.
She was born on Monday, July 15, 1940, in Valley View, a daughter of the late Lewis Zimmerman and the late Mildred Hoover Zimmerman.
She was a 1958 graduate of Tri-Valley School District.
Jane retired from Indiantown Gap Military Reservation.
She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins.
Jane enjoyed toll painting and spending time with her family.
Her husband, James H Maurer, Sr, passed away in 2005.
She is survived by two sons, James H Maurer, Jr and his wife Elizabeth of Landisville, and John C Maurer of Hegins; two daughters, Jill A Maurer of Bethlehem, and Janet L Maurer-Koval, of Allentown; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald Zimmerman and Lewis Zimmerman both of Valley View.
Graveside services will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Hegins, on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Thomas Maurer officiating.
