James C. Wronski, 78, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 29th, at his residence.
James was born in Buck Mountain, PA on April 11, 1942, a son of the late Catherine (Curtis) and Kazimierz "Charles” Wronski.
He was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.
He worked for the Mahanoy Township Water Authority for his entire career.
James is survived by a daughter, Colleen Wronski, of Mahanoy City, a son, Charles Wronski, of Barnesville, by 1 Grandson Hunter McGuire, a former wife Barbara Zelonis of Mahanoy City, nephews James and Richard Wronski, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Ann Wronski, brothers John and Joseph Curtis and Sister Jane Wronski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating.

Born in Pottsville June 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Arthur “Art” H. and Kathryn (Conrad) Brower.
She was a 1953 graduate of Pottsville High School. She was a member of Grace EC Church, Schuylkill Haven. She served and taught Sunday School from the age of 16 to the age of 80.
Edna retired in 2005 from the local garment industry after having been employed by the former Van Huesan Corp.; the former Pine Shirt; and the former Fessler/Meck Knitting Mill. Even though she retired she never lost her passion for sewing. She was often sought out by the residents of Stoneridge Retirement Community, Myerstown.
She will be deeply missed by her friends and relatives including her brother Walter C. Brower husband of Brenda, Shillington; her sister Joyce Dresch wife of Charles, Annville; aunts Betty Gerber and Mary Brown both of Pottsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11 o’clock Monday August 3on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Pastor Ted Rathman will officiate.

Wally "The Hulk" Kilraine, 65, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, July 29th, at his residence.
Born in Pottsville, on July 30, 1954, a son of the late Helen (Searle) and James Kilraine.
He was the husband of Norma (Seiders) Kilraine.
He was employed by various companies as a truck driver. He last worked at Napa Auto Parts, Schuylkill Haven. He was an avid fisherman and was a member of a bass fishing club in Minersville. He loved going to Florida.
Walter is survived by five daughters, Billie-Jo, wife of Chris Yorski, of North Manheim Twp.; Starlyn, wife of Kevin Meitzler, of Lake Wynonah; Jerrine, wife of James Drey, Jr., of Schuylkill Haven; Shy Kilraine, of Pottsville; Anastasia KIlraine, and her significant other David Sherrill, of Minersville.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 step siblings.
He is preceded in death by a step brother Keith Lash.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Born in Summit Hill, PA on June 28, 1929, he was a son of the late Lester and Anna (nee Francis) Hartranft. William served in the Army during the Korean War and graduated from Penn Tech in Williamsport upon his return. He worked for the former Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem where he attended the furnaces. William attended St. John Lutheran Church, New Mahoning, PA. He was a life member of the NRA.
William is survived by son, William Charles Hartranft of Lehighton, PA; daughters, Bonnie Lee Hricisin and her husband, William of Summit Hill, PA, Laurie Ann Dunkle and her husband, James of Jim Thorpe, PA and Kathie Joy Kershner and her husband Todd of Summit Hill; grandchildren, Heidi Hricisin, Sarah Baneravage, William Hricisin, Amanda Dunkle, Christopher Bradley, Donald Kershner, and Cheryl Wargo; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Edward Hartranft of New Jersey; and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by a great grandson, Noah Krynock; brothers, Daniel and Lester; and a sister, Margaret.
Services will be held at a later date.

Brenda J. Ford, 61 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Born Thursday, December 11, 1958 in Camden, New Jersey the daughter of Doris (Stronski) Beil of Barrington, NJ and the late, Donald P. Schoenfeld. Brenda was also predeceased by her beloved husband on November 6, 2009 William P. Ford.
Surviving are sons, Joshua Ford and his wife Vanessa with whom she resided with in Tamaqua, Paul W. and his wife Sarah Ford of Tamaqua; daughters, Christi Beuchler and her husband Derek of Auburn, Mary J. Ford and her companion Joseph Petitto of Forty Fort; brother, Brad Paul Schoenfeld of Downingtown; sisters, Linda Evans and Jennifer Schoenfeld; grandchildren, Hayden, Savannah, Ryleigh, Mason, Nathaniel, Kiana, Jina, and Logan.
Brenda enjoyed being around animals and summer days at the Bungalow.
