After a water main break earlier this week near Ashland, the borough has lifted a boil advisory that was issued.
On Wednesday, August 19th, 2020, the borough of Ashland experienced a loss in water pressure due to a water main break of the main line in Butler Township near the former Ashland Elementary location.
Due to the break, the borough issued an advisory for all residents to boil their water before using.
Late Friday, the borough announced that the advisory was lifted and is safe to drink.
