CACL Opens New Drive-Thru Location Along the St. Clair/Port Carbon Highway

On Friday, a special ribbon cutting ceremony was held with Schuylkill County dignitaries for CACL's grand opening of their new location along the St. Clair/Port Carbon Highway.

The new addition is the company's first new branch location in CACL's 67 year history.  The location was established to provide convenient drive-thru banking for the Saint Clair/Port Carbon area and allows 3 drive through lanes with a 4th lane for ATM service.  It also includes a surcharge-free coin counting machine.

The event included food trucks and a live broadcast from T-102 with Casey and John.  Representatives from the CACL Bark Park Project were also on hand to provide information.

At 12:00pm, a special ribbon cutting ceremony was held that was organized by the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber President Robert Carl emceed the event.

"This is something we've wanted to do for a long time.  There is a financial void in Saint Clair and we thought this was a great opportunity." said CACL COO Josh Burgess.

"It's important for small towns to have access to financial services.  As someone who grew up in St. Clair, I'm very appreciative of that." said Shannon Brennan, Chair of the Board of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce.

Brennan also noted that Friday's ribbon cutting was the 3rd in the St. Clair area in the past week. "The community is really growing and developing" added Brennan.

Also speaking were the Schuylkill County Commissioners Baron Hetherington, Gary Hess, and George Halcovage.

"CACL has been around a long time.  Whether it's a personal or business endeavor, these are the type of institutions that are here to help.  They helped me with my new addition in Schuylkill Haven.  And today we have a thriving ice cream business because of CACL." said Commissioner Hess.

"If you go around the county, you see CACL's name in a lot of venues.  They are putting their investments back into the community.  They are replanting their money back into the community to help it grow" added Hess.

At the end of the ceremony, COO Burgess cut the red ribbon to officially open the branch.
