The operator of a motorcycle was injured Tuesday morning in a crash on Route 901 in Barry Township.
The crash occurred around 7:30am on Route 901 between the intersections of Black Creek Road and Post Road.
Early indications at the scene were the operator of the motorcycle impacted the rear-end of a utility truck.
The operator of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike and was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver and passenger of the utility truck were not injured.
The motorcycle sustained damaged to the front of the bike while the utility truck sustained minor bumper damage.
Responding to the scene were the State Police, Butler Township Police, Gordon Fire Department, Lavelle Fire Department, Washington Rescue, Washington Ambulance, and Hegins paramedics.
