Route 309 Bridge Project to Begin This Week in Rush Township

PennDOT has announced a bridge project will begin this week and last several months on Route 309 in Rush Township.

According to PennDOT, the work will begin on the Route 309 Bridge over the the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad this week.

Route 309 will be reduced to a single 11 foot wide lane while maintenance forces make repairs to the bridge.

The lane restrictions will be in place 24 hours day until November 2020.
