Two Injured in West Brunswick Township Crash
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the two-vehicle crash occurred on Chestnut Road in West Brunswick Township August 12th, 2020 just after 11:30am.
Police say the crash occurred when Gary Minnich, 73, of Auburn, was pulling out onto Chestnut Street from a small parking lot.
Minnich attempted to make a left turn and did not yield to Leory McClure, 73, of Middleport who was travelling east on Chestnut Street.
Both vehicles nearly struck head-on but were able to pull to the side of the road after the crash.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
McClure and his passenger, Elaine McClure were injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital via Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven EMS.
Minnich and a 13 year old passenger were not injured.

One Injured in Crash in East Union Township
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Route 924 in the area of Phineyville Road, East Union Township, around 2:30pm on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020.
Police say Abreu-Camilo Anderson, 20, of Hazleton was traveling south on Route 924 when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway.
Anderson lost control, went off the roadway, and struck a ditch causing disabling damage to his Honda Civic.
Anderson was transported from the scene to an area hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Anderson will be charged for the crash.
