Doris Bergmark, 84, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Wednesday, August 12th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Doris was born in Philadelphia, pa on March 2, 1936, a daughter of the late Kathryn and Harry Smalley.
She was the best mom and mom mom any family could ask for.
Doris is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Jones, of Upper Darby; Susan Cooper, of Florida; two sons Timothy Hart, of San Antonio Tx; Frank III, of Pottsville; and by a sister, Florence Major, of Corbin Ky, a brother, Carl "Butch" Smalley, of Sharon Hill PA;10 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by son Frank Hart, and Florence Miller, and Brothers Elmer and Harry Smalley and Sisters Kathryn Jones and Ann Pieschl.
A Memorial Service will be private at the convenience of the family with Rev. Fred Crawford officiating.

Roberta Ann Sheesley, 66, of Deerfield Beach, Florida and formerly of Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in Pompano Beach, Florida. She was the wife of the late Keith Sheesley who died in 1992.
Born in Hazleton, PA on December 4, 1953, Roberta was a daughter of the late Stephen and Arlene (nee Cano) Jepko. A 1971 graduate of Panther Valley High School, she was a chronically happy person who was straight forward with people. Roberta loved her job as assistant manager at Kelly’s Ocean Grill in Deerfield Beach. She loved collecting shells and photographing sunrises and sunsets.
But being family oriented, her son was the center of her world. Roberta was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lehighton, PA. She is survived by son, Erik Dunkle and his companion, Laurie Anthony of Lehighton; sisters, Beverly Shapiro of Florida and Regina Boyer of Slatington, PA; and niece, Alicia Zettlemoyer.

M. Jane Madenfort, 88, of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, August 12th, at her residence.
Born in Lehighton,on July 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Viola (Hartzell) and Albert Evans.
She was the widow of James Madenfort, who passed away in 2017.
Jane was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and East Stroudsburg University. She worked as a teacher before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.
She is survived by four sons Mark, of Boca Raton; Matthew, of Auburn; Mitchell, of Auburn and Michael, husband of Michele, of Hockessin, DE.
She is also survived by a grandson Taylor; brother James Ruth, Anaheim, CA.
Service details will be announced at a later date.

Born Sunday, March 4, 1973 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Douglas R.Bachert , Sr., and Nancy (Stout) Bachert of Andreas; wife of of Jamie D. Homyak of Tamaqua; beloved mother to, Robert D. Homyak of New Ringgold; sister of Douglas R. Bachert, Jr. and his wife Natalie, favorite aunt of Hannah Bachert.
A 1991 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Kathie graduated from McCann's School of Business. She worked for a number of years in different capacities at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest Campus, and previously at Bucilla Corp. of Hazleton.
A member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp., Kathie enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing and crafts. Her most cherished time was spent with family and being a mom.

Bernadine Elizabeth Messina, 92, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, at Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, Scranton.
Born Sept. 28, 1927, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence B. and Mary Roberts Towey.
She graduated from Pottsville Area High School and remained a resident of Pottsville until moving to a retirement community in Charlottesville, Va., in June 2005, to be closer to her daughter and to see her grandsons play sports. In April 2018, she returned to Pennsylvania and lived in Scranton close to her son.
She was an avid sports fan, always supporting all Pottsville sports, especially cross country and track, as well as her beloved Notre Dame. She was a devout member of St. Joseph, then St. Patrick, parish in Pottsville.
Deanie had a great belief in the importance of education. She was a very active member of many local organizations and held the position of PTA president at Mount Hope School, as well as PTA City Council president for several years.

John H. "Burno" Craig, age 62, of New Philadelphia, PA , passed away with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 at his home.
Born in Pottsville, PA on November 20, 1957, he was the son of the late John H. and Mary Ann (Shamus) Craig.
John worked as a laborer and fabricator on construction and last working for OMNOVA in Auburn.
John loved going fishing and golfing and was a sports enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Brenda C. Craig-Fogarty.
John is survived by two daughters: Candice Craig and Crystle Craig; three grandchildren: Shayne, Laura, and Dylan; two brothers: Robert and Joseph Craig; three sisters: Beverly Nally, Denise Killeen, and Kimberly Craig; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to The Shriners Hospitals for Children.
