Lisa A. Lickman, 58, of Orwigsburg, passed away on Wednesday, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 22, 1962 to Ronald Lickman of Port Carbon and Barbara (Quinn) Lickman of Orwigsburg.
She received her Master's degree in Economics from Hunter College, NYC.
Lisa was co-owner of the family business, SDL Construction, Orwigsburg,
She was instrumental in developing an inclusion program in education for autistic children and was very active with the PTA and local politics in Brooklyn.
In March 2001, Lisa received the Woman of the Year award from FIAO of Brooklyn, NY.
She was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Lickman, in 2014.
Lisa, aka "Frita", is survived by her husband, James W. Palamara, to whom she was married for 35 years. She is also survived by her son, Andrew John Palamara, (husband of Celine Schrier), of Reading ; daughter, Caitlin Rose Palamara, of Orwigsburg; two sisters, Lori Quinn "Fratie",( wife of Dustin Smith), of Pottsville; Lynn Lickman "Frintie", of Schuylkill Haven; brother, Quinn Lickman "Fikie", of Orwigsburg; mother, Barbara (Quinn) Lickman, of Orwigsburg; father, Ronald Lickman, of Port Carbon; her dearly loved mother-in-law, Virginia Funiciello; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Due to recent lung cancer research, we were blessed that Lisa's life was extended by two years. The family would be especially grateful for donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901.

Born on June 24, 1955 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Clark and Helen Maurer Warner and step daughter of the late Joyce Warner.
She was a member Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Pamela worked for the former Canoe Mfg., Pine Grove and Kreisers Quick Stop in Tremont.
Preceding her in death were her first husband Richard DuBois, her second husband, Scott Bowers; a sister Peggyanne Cooper; a brother Steven Warner.

Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer DuBois and fiancée Jason Buchanan, Bonita Lamberth, Cassandra Bowers; a son, John Bowers and fiancée Michelle Bloch; 13 grandchildren, Brittany DuBois, James Degler, Steven Degler, Christopher Degler, Kira Lamberth, Eric Lamberth, Ryan Lamberth, Hope Lamberth, Paige Wolfe, Matthew Wolfe, Eli Wolfe, Lorelei Bowers, Evelyn Bowers; a great grandson Carson Hain and eight more great grandchildren.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

James J. Kleeman, 72, of West West Terrace, Branch Township, passed away on Sunday, July 12, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ann Klementovich Kleeman. He attended Pottsville schools, and was employed by EXXON/Tredegar until retiring.
He was a member of the former English Lutheran Church, Minersville. He was also a life member of both the New Minersville Fire Company and the West End Fire Company, Pottsville.
Jim is survived by his wife of 27 years, the former Barbara Paulis.
There are no services. Donations will be accepted to help defray expenses.
