Buddy was born with mental challenges, which were difficult at times, but he prided himself by working every day and being independent. He lived most of his life as a Pottsville resident. He loved to socialize after work with his co-workers; his favorite place being Julian’s tavern. You could also find him everyday drinking coffee at Dunkin Donuts. He faithfully played the daily number as well as going out to dinner with his family on Friday nights. Cantankerous at times, Buddy was a generous and loyal friend.

His family would like to thank all those who knew Buddy and took care of him and his well-being when he was out and about, as well as his caregivers, for the respect they gave him every day.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Church of God Cemetery, Valley View. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
