Midday Saturday, a group of Biden supporters, along with an inflatable Baby Donald Trump gathered along Route 54 on the east of Ashland near the Ashland Foundry.
The gathering was organized by Donna and Samer Salem, of Ashland, who were there to support Biden, the trans and LGBTQ community, women's rights, equal pay, equal human rights, and to get more people to vote.
Donna Salem said "Schuylkill County does not have a Biden presence at all and I know there are Biden supporters. They are very intimidated, they are afraid to put their signs out, and we are not. We just wanted to gather and show support."
"The country is divided because of President trump. I believe Trump is a white supremacist. Without him getting voted out, this country will become a dictatorship". Donna Salem added.
While the supporters held signs along the highway, those passing by honked in support and some showed support for President Trump.
The gathering wrapped up just before 2:00pm, Saturday.
