Friends and family gathered Friday to celebrate the life of Robert Babarsky with one "Last Ride".
Last Saturday, Robert Babarsky, 48, of Ringtown tragically died in a motorcycle accident on Route 924 near Gilberton last Saturday.
Babarsky was very well known throughout the community through his ownership with his wife of the Wagon Wheel Bar and Restaurant, Ringtown, his contracting business, and many other organizations that he belonged to.
On Friday evening, a memorial service was held at Oravitz Funeral Home, in Shenandoah.
Babarsky loved to ride, and after the service, a special motorcycle ride was held.
Over 100 motorcycles and other vehicles took part in the ride that started at the funeral home and travelled out of Shenandoah, and eventually through Girardville, Ashland, Centralia, Aristes, and Ringtown.
