Joseph Cyril Gensure
, 83, of New Boston, died on September 22, 2020 at his home in New Boston. Joseph was born on December 25, 1936 to the late Joseph and Anna Etcho Gensure. He graduated from Mahanoy Township High School. He worked his entire career at General Electric and proudly served in the US Army.

He is survived by his beloved wife Marie Sparich Gensure, to whom he was happily married for 47 years, his son Joseph Gensure and daughter in law Bridget Hanley Gensure, his grandchildren Aidan, Ainsley and Alivia, his sister Marge Gensure Gergal, his brother Edward Gensure and sister in law Doris Gensure. Private services will be held.

Marguerite E. Yeich Mortimer,
96, of Reading, died Saturday, September 19th, at Berks Heim Nursing Home, Leesport. Marguerite was born in Northhampton on October 24, 1923, a daughter of the late Margie M. (Rarick) and Irvin E. Peifer. She was the widow of William W. Mortimer as well as her first husband, George F. Yeich.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg. She worked as a floor lady at the Former Sylray Company in Orwigsburg for 40 years, retiring when the Sylray company closed.

Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. , wife of Reverend Joseph L. Wenrich, a stepdaughter, Shirley, widow of Dorie Reber, grandchildren Kimberly, wife of Reverend Steven Jeantet, Kelly, wife of James O'Brien and Jonathan, husband of Kareli Wenrich; Great grandchildren Jeremiah, Charis, Rachel, and Micah Jeantet, Annabella and Amya O'Brien, and Henry Mateo Wenrich.

In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter Beverly J. Yeich, brother Herman Peifer as well as an infant brother, sister Edythe Schlear and stepdaughter Karen Arndt.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.

Irene Dewald, 93, of Pottsville, passed away on Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill – East.

Born on June 6, 1927 in Charleroi, she was a daughter of the late Michael Kohutka, Sr. and the late Pauline Hancharick Kohutka, and a step-daughter of the late Adella Lazaravich Kohutka. She was a 1945 graduate of Minersville High School. She had been employed in the local garment industry.

She was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville; and currently attended St. Patrick Church, Pottsville.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Walter Dewald, Sr.; two daughters, Ida Gail Janda and Theresa Maley; a young child, Elaine; four siblings, Michael Kohutka, Jr., John Kohutka, George Kohutka, and Marie Wozniski.

Irene is survived by her son, Walter “Butch” Dewald, Jr., Pottsville; three grandsons, Brant Maley, Keith Maley and Matthew Dewald; four great-grandchildren, Isabella Dewald, Kiel Rutters, Isabella and Lillian Maley. She is also survived by two siblings, Joseph Kohutka (spouse, Nancy), Minersville, and Ona Stanley, Shartlesville; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Church, 319 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville. Interment will be private in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Branch Township.

Paul W. Wagner, Jr.
, 73, of Bridge St., Tremont, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at home.

Born on February 3, 1947 in Allentown, he was a son of Paul Sr. and Grace Moyer Wagner.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School and attended Business School. He also graduated at the top of his class from paramedic school.

He was a Marine Corp. veteran having served in Vietnam.

Paul was a CNA at the Lebanon VA Hospital. He was a member of the Tremont Area Ambulance Association since 1979, Mine Rescue and taught mine safety classes for the state. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors and nature.

Preceding him in death were a son Jason Wagner and a daughter, Kristan Wagner.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Sandra Bentzel Wagner; a son Kevin and wife Tammy Wagner of Minersville; three daughters, Kathy and husband Todd Yarnell of Lancaster, Jill Wagner of Dallas, TX, Shannon and husband Andrew Zepnikowski of Valley View; 7 grandchildren, Jessica and husband Justin Lyons, Alyssa and husband Jason Mallick, Jonathan and wife Caitlin Lyons, Cody Wagner, Savannah Wagner, Thomas Zepnikowski and Parker Wagner; 4 great grandchildren, Wyatt Lyons, Brendon Lyons, Jameson Lyons and Morgan Lyons.

Graveside Services and interment will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Cemetery, Church St., Tremont, with Chaplain Mercedes Case officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Tremont Area Ambulance Association, 49 North St., Tremont, Pa. 17981 in his memory.

Ann Alyce M. Morgan
, 70, of Tremont Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on February 25, 1950 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Albert "Snooks" and Alice Leddy Fenstermacher.

She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.

Ann Alyce worked for her daughter at Boyer Chiropractic, Pine Grove.

She was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.

Preceding her in death was a sister Helene Fenstermacher and a brother Edward Fenstermacher.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Lemoyne Morgan; a son Christopher Morgan; a daughter, Kimberly and husband Daniel Boyer; five grandchildren, Clarissa and Shea Morgan, Kaleb, Abel and Lincoln Boyer, all of Pine Grove; two sisters, Sharon Dabashinsky and Kathleen Fenstermacher, both of Schuylkill Haven.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hetzel's Church, 233 Hetzel's Church Rd. Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz and Pastor John Reis officiating. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Church.
