Jacqueline E Moyer, age 82, of Valley View, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on Saturday, December 4, 1937, in Lavelle, a daughter of the late Esther E Hubler Gribbin.
She was a 1955 graduate of the former Butler Twp High School.
Jackie was a front end supervisor for K Mart, Frackville, prior to her retirement. She also worked with her husband at the former Moyer's Hardware, Valley View.
She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her husband John D Moyer, passed away on August 21, 2020.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy L Moyer of Valley View and Elizabeth A Stutzman and her husband Bruce of Valley View; two grandsons, John M Stutzman of Valley View and Evan R Moyer and his fiancé Brittany Eichert of Valley View; a great granddaughter, Colbie J Moyer of Valley View; two sisters, Mae Hughes of Kulpmont and Patricia Huntzinger of Valley View; and two nieces, Cheryl Neumeister of Ashland and Tracy Maurer of Fountain Springs.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Monday, September 28, 2020, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.

Edward J. Yarnell, Jr., 44 of Mahanoy City, died Tuesday in Pottsville.
He was born June 25, 1976 in Pottsville a son of the Karleen Davenport Yarnell, Pottsville and the late Edward J. Yarnell, Sr.
He attended Pottsville Area High School and worked as a Machine Operator
He was of Catholic faith.
Through out his life he enjoyed Heavy Metal and was a die hard Pittsburg Steelers Fan.
In addition to his mother he survived by his wife Jennifer Zuppert Yarnell; 2 sons, Kade Yarnell and Jackson Marler; 2 step-daughters, Morgan Drey and Vanna Petrozino, a sister, Tina Strausser; a brother, Christopher Yarnell, both of Pottsville; nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dog Clutch.
Service of Remembrance will be held 11AM Wednesday at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Deacon John E. Quirk officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9AM until the time of services at the funeral home. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions be made to James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, 1112 W. Market St, Pottsville PA, 17901 to help defray some funeral cost. Interment will follow in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville. Anyone attending is asked to please wear a mask.
