On Saturday, the Washington Fire Company held Ashland's annual fall event, Applefest.
The event, which was held at Eureka Park, drew a crowd looking for some great food, especially apple dumplings.
The dumplings were provided this year by Bissinger's from Bloomsburg which offered Apple Dumplings with Vanilla or Cinnamon ice cream.
Also offering food was the Washington Fire Company, Wilburton Fire Company, and Kona Ice which allowed for a menu of potato cakes, bean soup, vegetable soup, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers and more.
Vendors also offered crafts, clothing, and snacks.
A basket raffle was also held which included a shop and drop on Friday evening.
With many other events cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19, the event drew a crowd early on.
