On Tuesday, October 27th, during the Department of Health's daily update, Pennsylvania reported it's highest one-day total of new positive cases.
As of the 12:00pm update, the DOH confirmed as of 12:00am, there were 2,751 additional positive cases of COVID-19 bring the statewide total to 198,446.
The DOH reported that the increases continue to be comparable to April 2020 statistics.
For Schuylkill County, 50 new positive cases were reported bringing the county total to 1,975. The daily increase is the county's 2nd highest increase in positive cases.
No new deaths were reported with the death total for the county standing at 86.
